Along with the brands of paints I use, another F.A.Q. I get is, what does my pallet looks like, and this is one of em, a pocket sized Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolor pan set.
I did remove some of the “dead” pans and replaced them with other brands of watercolors from a tube.
For more questions u can visit my F.A.Q. (http://blog.bosquejitos.com/faq)
It is expensive, but there are many ways to get into school, you can take out some loans and start a paying it off while in school to help avoid a large amount of interest from building up. I borrowed money from the school directly and I am paying it off while still in school.
Which means I am working and going to school full-time to be able to finish my education. I as well have been with my boyfriend for 5 years this month, we live together and he helps me pay my bills so I can finish school as well, if it wasn’t for him I probably wouldn’t be in school right now honestly.
You can as well take all your core classes at The Art Institute and then take all your General Education classes at a jr./city college to help save some money there.
Hope that answers your question .__.
I was recently asked about the brands of watercolors I use and these are some of the main brands of watercolors that I normally use. I do not have a favorite brand BUT I do prefer some brands over others.
Some of the brands I like to use more often are:
- Sennelier: excellent color range, luminosity, and consistency
- Winsor & Newton: Cotman/Professional
Cotman: comes in tubes and pans and excellent value for dollar amount
Professional: Color range of 96 colors and unrivalled transparency
- QoR Watercolor: rich in color and consistency, colors stay vibrant even after drying
The brands I still use but not my first choice are:
- Blick Brand Watercolor: poor mixing and low in pigment
- Van Gogh: student grade watercolors, not ideal for mixing colors
- Grumbacher Acadmey: student grade watercolors, not ideal for mixing colors
These are the main watercolor brands I have in my work space :)
